Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use this website, request a survey or accept a quote from us.

About us

Quick Quote Roofing is a family-run roofing business covering the CR postcode districts across Croydon, South Croydon, Caterham, Mitcham, Coulsdon, Warlingham, Thornton Heath and Purley. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Quick Quote Roofing, and "you" means the customer.

Enquiries, surveys and quotes

  • •Sending an enquiry through this website does not create a contract. It is a request for us to get in touch.
  • •Roof surveys are free of charge and carry no obligation to proceed.
  • •Any price we give you in writing is a fixed quote based on the work described and the condition of the roof at the time of survey.
  • •Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date shown, unless stated otherwise.
  • •If, once work begins, we find damage that could not reasonably have been seen during the survey, we will stop, explain what we have found, and agree any change in price with you before continuing.

Appointments and access

We will agree a date and time for the survey and any work with you in advance. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the roof and any areas we need to work in, and to tell us about anything that might affect the work — for example parking restrictions, pets, alarm systems or fragile surfaces.

Work, materials and guarantees

  • •Work is carried out by our team with reasonable care and skill.
  • •Our workmanship is guaranteed in writing. The length of the guarantee is stated on your quote and invoice.
  • •Materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which we will pass on to you.
  • •Guarantees do not cover normal wear and tear, storm or accidental damage, or work carried out by others.

Payment

Payment terms are set out on your quote and invoice. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, we may ask for a deposit before ordering materials or booking the work in, with the balance due on completion.

Your right to cancel

Where you are a consumer and the contract was agreed away from our premises, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing to the work. If you ask us to start work within that period, we may charge for work already carried out. If we have already completed the work with your agreement, the right to cancel may no longer apply.

Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our own negligence or breach of these terms. We are not responsible for loss or damage that could not reasonably have been foreseen, or for problems caused by conditions we were not told about. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Problems and complaints

If something is not right, tell us as soon as possible. We will look into it and put it right. If we cannot resolve your complaint between us, you may be able to refer it to an independent dispute resolution service or to Trading Standards.

Using this website
